My Tick Tock To Diva Ticker...

On a Positive Note!

I don't want to be a negative, boring, moaning wench, so I thought how's about a bit of good news today? Well, here we go: my uniform has officially fallen off me. My trousers were stupid loose all day in clinic and I was constantly having to hoist them up in front of people. And you may not want to know all this, but it's a proud moment, so sorry, but when I went to the bathroom I didn't even have to unbutton or unzip them. I could just pull those bad boys right down! Finally, when I got home Friday night, I was sorting out some paperwork in the kitchen and whoosh! I lost my trousers. It felt great. I think I've been waiting for this moment because sooooo many times in the past I've hastily gotten rid of my "fatter" clothes for "less fat" clothes only to lose focus, gain weight, and pine for those dejected sassy outfits again. This time it was like: be patient, take your time. Now, I feel I'm naturally moving on: THE UNIFORM REALLY DOES NOT FIT!

So. What am I going to wear until my new uniform arrives you ask? Well, funny enough, I actually had a lovely navy blue suit in my closet which was purchased last year for an interview. It was "superbad" so I had to buy it (even though it DIDN'T REALLY FIT!!!) Us fat girls have a funny way of thinking, huh? Yes, people, I paid a stupid amount of money for a suit that didn't fit. The trousers are those cute, high waist corset type of trousers and I remember suffocating at the Assessment Centre the day of the interview. I was seriously panicking that I would take someone's eye out if a button suddenly sprung across the room under all that pressure. The jacket? Well, I couldn't close it, but it still gave me a nice shape and I coulda' sworn I heard some fashion guru saying that that was OK (!) for fat girls once. 'Cus it's all about the shape and it did give me a cute little waist line. So, anyway, I decided to try this suit on... THE TROUSERS FIT COMFORTABLY AND ARE SUPER CUTE!!!!! I CAN CLOSE THE JACKET!!! But, in all honesty I'm not ready to close the jacket yet 'cus I do feel like a fat girl in a little coat when I close the jacket, but all things with time. I can't wait until the day I put that jacket on and it feels loose!!!
